Doorman Productions was started in Iowa in 1991 by Scott Dohrmann. After earning a BA in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa, Scott quickly established himself has a prolific jingle writer and producer—working with dozens of businesses across the country. Clients using DP musical productions included Norwest Banks, Fort Dodge Animal Health division of Wyeth, CT Farm and Country farm stores, Happy Chef restaurants, and Pabst Blue Ribbon, as well as numerous auto dealers, insurance agencies, and retail establishments. In 1993 DP added messaging on hold to the menu of services, and since then has provided equipment and productions for hundreds of businesses across the country. In 1996 Scott moved to the Nashville, TN area and, working with several affiliates, has expanded DP’s offerings to include video production.
